Europe Day 2025 Gala
On Friday, May 9 at 19:30 pm, the International Auditorium will host the Europe Day Gala 2025, organized by the Department of Presidency and the Department of International Residents of the City of Torrevieja. It will be an evening full of music and symbolism to celebrate unity, diversity and European identity.
The event will feature the participation of renowned local artists. The singer Zhanel will open the gala with his unique voice, followed by the group Syncopation, formed by Ukrainian musicians based in Torrevieja, who will perform iconic themes of the Eurovision Song Contest. For its part, the Ensemble of the Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja will be in charge of the institutional part, interpreting the Hymn of the European Union.
As a finale, the show Siempre Disco Remember will lift the audience out of their seats with a powerful medley that will review Eurovision’s greatest hits and mythical songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s, creating a festive and vibrant atmosphere for all audiences.
In addition, the City Council will provide a free bus service to facilitate access to the event, departing from Faleria Avenue at 18:30 hours and returning at the end of the gala.

Symphonic tribute to cinema
On Saturday, May 10 at 8:00 p.m., also at the International Auditorium, the Royal Film Concert Orchestra returns, conducted by maestro Fernando Furones, offering a spectacular tribute to three of the greatest soundtrack composers in the history of cinema: Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
The program includes an emotional journey through soundtracks of unforgettable films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, The Rock, The Untouchables, For a Fistful of Dollars, Saving Private Ryan, Olympic Fanfare and Theme, Hook, Once Upon a Time in America, Rabbia e tarantella (from Inglourious Basterds), Sherlock Holmes, Inception and Gladiator.
The Royal Film Concert Orchestra is one of the most outstanding orchestras in the field of film music, formed by musicians from the best European orchestras and schools and specialized in performing live the most emblematic soundtracks in history. It is known for its ability to recreate, with great precision and emotion, the scores of the great composers of the film industry.

Youth Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja
On Sunday May 11 at 12:00 pm, the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja will be the scene of an extraordinary concert starring the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja, in which virtuosity, emotion and richness of classical and contemporary repertoire are intertwined.
The first part of the concert will include the Concerto for double bass and orchestra by the classical composer Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf, with the participation as soloist of the young musician Adrián Martínez, an outstanding member of the orchestra itself. Afterwards, the audience will enjoy the majestic Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven, a work universally recognized for its powerful opening motif and emotional intensity, capable of moving the listener from the very first bar.
The second part of the program will be dedicated to the world premiere of Magallane’s Expedition, composed by the orchestra’s conductor, Adolfo Arronis. Inspired by the epic of Ferdinand Magellan and the first voyage around the world, this score proposes a musical journey full of adventure, exploration and historical grandeur, which will transport the audience through oceans and epic challenges.
With this special program, Torrevieja continues to establish itself as a cultural reference, combining artistic excellence, commitment to European identity and the promotion of local talent. Three days to celebrate music, history, cinema and youth in a city that is committed to culture as an engine.
